Schools To Replace Smart Boards

The Clay County Board of Education met last Thursday and discussed the possibility of purchasing additional 65-inch interactive panels for Clay County Schools.

The interactive panels discussed are much like a flat-screen television that act like the current Smart Boards; however, the panels are more interactive and have less of a delay in comparison to the current Smart Boards.

Head of IT and Technology, Robbie Strong explained that the panels don’t have bulbs that give out periodically like Smart Boards or projectors.

“On these panels, there are no bulbs to replace and they would last a lot longer than a projector or a Smart Board would,” he said.
