Colleen Dixon York, 73, of Nashville, passed away Aug. 1 at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro. Funeral services were held Aug. 5 at Yokley Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville with Gary Wilder officiating. Family served as pallbearers. Interment followed in the Pitcock Cemetery.
She was born July 21, 1947 in Clay County.
She was preceded in death by: parents, Piccola (Lee) Dixon and Clifton Whitney Dixon; husband, Mitchell Douglas “Doug” York; sister, Mary Lou Clements; and one great-grandchild.
Surviving relatives include: daughter, Angela York of Nashville; son, Carl York and wife, Tabitha of Ashland City; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; beloved pets, Nestle and Baby; sister, Bertie Fraley and husband, Tony of Nashville; and brother-in-law, Carrell Clements of Red Boiling Springs.
