Ethel R. “Sue” Hilton

Ethel R. “Sue” Hilton, 76, of Celina, passed away June 26 at IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington. Funeral services were held June 30 at Costin Funeral Chapel in Martinsville, Ind.

She was born July 18, 1943 in Muncie, Ind. She had many activities she volunteered at in Celina and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed her vegetable and flower gardens and socializing with her friends.

She was preceded in death by: parents, Dale and Clara (McLaughlin) Baxter; husband, Howard Hilton; siblings, Chester Baxter, Joe Baxter, Jimmie Baxter, John Baxter, Alta Pennington, Rosie Baxter and Annie Bambei.

Surviving relatives: daughter, Cynthia “Cindy” Riley and husband, Phil of Martinsville; and sister, Mary Miller of Crawfordsville.

Andrew T. Davis

Andrew T. Davis, 82, of Celina, passed away July 7 at his residence. Funeral services were held July 9 from the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Celina with Luke Collins officiating. Interment followed in the Fitzgerald Cemetery in Celina. Pallbearers were Ricky Arms, Ricky Cook, Mike McClain, Denny Spears, Carl Huddleston and Martin Brown. Honorary Pallbearers include James Threet, Glen Scott, Andy Scott, Ira Forney, Jay Dyer and Jimmy Millins.

He was born June 14, 1938 in Celina. He was a truck driver and a member of the Celina United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by: parents, Bedford Thomas and Lora Lee (Stone) Davis; and grandson, Adam Allred.

Surviving relatives include: wife, Joyce (Copeland) Davis; daughter, Jackie Danner; sons, Randy Davis and wife, Rene, and David Allred and wife, Vanessa; grandsons, Matt (Teia) Davis and Cody Davis; granddaughters, Brooke (Michael) Phillips and Nastasia Allred and fiancé, Elijah Cantrell and great-grandchildren, Ashton Reed Phillips, Alyssa Phillips, Colton Phillips, Avrie Davis, Eli Davis, Taylie Davis, Ryder Davis and Kobi Davis.

Ann Swan

Ann Swan, 73, of Celina, passed away July 11 at her residence. Funeral services were held July 14 from the Chapel of Hall Funeral Home of Celina with Bro. Kenny Westmoreland officiating. Interment followed in the Butlers Landing Cemetery.

She was born in Gainesboro. She was a member of the Butlers Landing Church of Christ. She loved her family very much.

She was preceded in death by: parents, Carvel and Irene (Grogan) Daniels.

Surviving relatives include: husband, Glen Swan; daughter, Greda Cherry; son, Joe Glen Swan; and grandchildren, Austin Cherry, Tyler Cherry and Sarah Jo Swan.

 

Beverly Renee Walker

Beverly Renee Walker, 45, of Celina, passed away July 12 at Livingston Regional Hospital. Graveside services were held July 15 at the Williams Cemetery with Dr. Kenneth Beaty officiating. Active pallbearers were Cheryl Hooten, Kimberly Head, Kristie Haston, Johnny Rich, Tanner Rich and Colby Savage.

She was born Sept. 29, 1974 in Livingston. She worked many years in healthcare, was a talented artist, loved arts and crafts.

She was preceded in death by: father, Eldon Capps; and sister, Lisa Davis.

Surviving relatives include: husband, Tommy Walker of Celina; sons, Benjamin and Levi Walker, both of Celina; daughter Michaela Walker of Celina; niece Kayla Jernigan and husband, Jason; nephews, Jr. and Joshua Davis; special cousins, Teresa Savage, Denisa Rich, Rita Shilts, Velena Foster, Joey Foster and John Ford, as well as their families; aunt, Grace Foster; great-niece, Violet Jernigan; great-nephew, Jackson Davis; special doctors, Beaty, Horne and Hendrixson; and a host of family and friends.

Upton-Hay Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
