Billy Edward Webb
Billy Edward Webb, 89, of Mountain Home, Ark. and formerly of the Pea Ridge community, passed away April 21 at the Good Samaritan Society. A private graveside service was held at the Donaldson Cemetery on April 28.
He was born on the family farm in Pea Ridge and attended Pleasant Grove School. He served in the US Navy aboard the USS President Andrew Jackson during the Korean War. He was a skilled ironworker in California, was an avid banjo player and fisherman.
He was preceded in death by: parents, Edward and Emma Webb; wife, Martha; and uncle Walter Webb.
Surviving relatives include: sons, Larry and wife, Pam of Franklin, Steve and wife, Kathy of San Diego, Calif. and Gary and wife, Vickie of Mountain Home Ark.; grandchildren, Becky, Stacey, James, Danielle and Kimberlee; and great-grandchildren, Jillie and Wyatt.
Upton-Hay Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Charlie William Dailey
Charlie William Dailey, 91, passed away May 2 at Celina Rehabilitation Center. Graveside services were held May 5 at the Hamilton Addition Fitzgerald Cemetery with Bro. Eric Copas officiating.
He shared his life with so many. He was “Shanghai” to old friends, “Pa” to his grandsons and “Popi” to his great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by: parents, Thomas and Iva (Dulworth) Dailey.
Surviving relatives include: wife, Nell Dean (Ledbetter) Dailey; children, Charles Dailey of Hendersonville and Shirley Breedlove of Livingston along with their spouses; grandsons, Eugene Johnson of Livingston, Christopher Dailey of Springfield and Shaun Dailey of White House; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; friends, Bobby and Tina Kerr; and caregiver, Emma Brown.
Hall Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
