Turner Lee Ridge

Turner Lee Ridge, 84, of Red Boiling Springs, passed away on March 13 at Mabry Healthcare and Rehab in Gainesboro. Funeral services were held March 16 at the Upton-Hay Funeral Home with Jerry Reed officiating. Interment followed in the McDonald Cemetery. Family and friends served as active pallbearers.

He was born Oct. 21, 1935 in Celina. Turner was a decorated Navy veteran and retired from Ford Motor Company. He enjoyed fishing, playing horseshoes and watching for birds and deer.

He was preceded in death by: parents, Martin Sylvester and Anna Kate (White) Ridge; wife, Shirley Ridge; brother, Billy Ridge; and sister, Anna Lee Ridge.

Surviving relatives include: son, Christopher Ridge and wife, Kathie of Berea, Ky.; daughter Jennifer Reed and husband, Jeffrey of Morgantown, Ind.; grandchildren, Abigail Derringer and husband, Mark, Mallory Munice and husband, Keenan, Sara Shaw and husband, Brandon, Adam Patterson and wife, Candice and Aaron Patterson and wife, Brittany; step grandsons, Michael Reed and wife, Brandy and Brian Reed and wife, Traci; 18 great-grandchildren; sisters, Willow Dean Ridge of Gainesboro, Virginia Fagan and husband, Carl of Chapel Hill, Edna Sue Mahaney and husband, Jack of Gainesboro, Patsy Cote and husband, Paul of Edmonton, Ky. Rosalene Welch and husband, Roy, Imogene Smith and husband, Willis of Celina and Dianne Davie and husband, Tony of Lafayette; and many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

Brenda Proffitt

Brenda Proffitt, 69, of Celina, passed away, March 15 at the Celina Health and Rehab. Funeral services were held March 20 from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Celina with Bro. Dana Coverstone officiating. Interment followed in the Williams Cemetery in the Pea Ridge community.

She was born Jan. 12, 1951 in Hamilton, Ohio. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by: mother, Daisy Gray.

Surviving relatives include: step daughter, Patsy Marinich.

Bonnie M. (Carter) Maxfield

Bonnie M. (Carter) Maxfield, 39, of Allons, passed away on March 14 at Livingston Regional Hospital. Funeral services were held March 17 from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home in Celina with Bro. Tracy Pennington officiating. Interment followed in the Pennington-Smith Cemetery in Celina.

She was born Aug. 9, 1980. She was an artist and could do just about anything that she set her mind to do.

She was preceded in death by: mother, Marsha (Cloud) Carter.

Surviving relatives include: husband, Aaron Maxfield; daughter, Tia Maxfield; father, Larry Carter; sisters, Tina Paruszkiewicz, Brooke Carter and Chelsea Carter; brothers, Larry Cloud, James Cloud, Brian Carter, Jessie Carter and Corey Carter.
