Clay County Mobile Food Pantry/Second Harvest
On Friday Feb. 7, the first food distribution of 2020 from the Clay County Mobile Food Pantry/Second Harvest will be held at the Clay County Fairgrounds. Please do not arrive before 8 a.m. The food distribution will not begin until at least 9:15 a.m. depending on the arrival of the semi-truck and availability of the food. The food is intended for our Clay County residents. No more than two families per vehicle can receive food. Please see that the storage area/trunk of your vehicle is clear for loading of the food boxes before arrival at the fairgrounds. Please provide a snack and beverage for each individual in your vehicle in case of delays.

Be an Ombudsman Volunteer
Aging services for the Upper Cumberland, Inc. is looking for people what are empathetic, diplomatic and skilled communicators to be volunteer Ombudsmen. Volunteer ombudsmen dedicate three hours per week on this job. This could be the most challenging and rewarding volunteer opportunity you may ever have.
