Betty Jean Hatcher
Betty Jean Hatcher, 56, of Red Boiling Springs passed away Dec. 2 at her residence. Funeral services were held Dec. 6 from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Celina. Interment followed in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Clay County.
She was born March 23, 1963 in Livingston.
She was preceded in death by parents, Arno and Jewell Hatcher; brother, Robert Hatcher; and sisters, Ann Davis and Captola Hatcher.
Surviving relatives include son, James Hatcher and wife, Sara; daughter, Sheila Hensley and husband, Mark; sister, Creola Smith and husband, Ronnie; brothers, Arno Hatcher and wife Vicky, Eddie Hatcher and Freddie Hatcher and wife, Debbie; grandson’s Bentley, Hudson and Maverick; and several nieces and nephews.
Thomas “Tom” Bennett Bailey
Thomas “Tom” Bennett Bailey, passed away Dec. 7 at his home. Funeral services were held Dec. 14 at the Upton-Hay Funeral Home. Interment followed in the Bailey Family Cemetery.
He was born March 27, 1934 in Celina. Tom had a million friends and loved every one of them. He liked to have breakfast with different ones every day and called so many friends and relatives as he could seven days a week.
He was preceded in death by parents, Willie Fred and Sarah Evelyn Bailey.
Surviving relatives include wife, Joyce; favorite daughter, Janet Marie Bailey of Marathon, Fla.; favorite son, Jeffrey Bennett Bailey of Florence, Ky.; brothers, Leslie Ray Bailey of Cookeville and Joe Donald Bailey of Celina; and his favorite sister, Mary Frances Bailey Tayse of Carlisle, Ohio.
Remus Wayne Watson
Remus Wayne Watson, 76, of Celina passed away Dec. 12 at Clay Co. Health and Rehab. Funeral services were held Dec. 15 at the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Celina with Bro. Ken Miller officiating. Interment followed in the Watson Cemetery in the Pea Ridge community.
He was born March 18, 1942 in Celina. He worked at the Richardson Rubber Company for many years and loved his family very much.
He was preceded in death by parents, Millard and Delia (Daniels) Watson Remus; wife, Mary Jane Watson; son, Mark Neal Watson; sisters, Ina Cunningham, Iva Kuhn, Murlene Watson, Georgia Adams, Jollie Anderson; and brothers, Jack Watson, Demus Watson, R.T. Watson and Arkley Watson.
Surviving relatives include son, Wayne Watson and wife, Amy; daughter, Karen Gaddis and husband, Dennis; step children, Jerry Mason and Mary Ann Moore; grandchildren, Cody Gaddis and wife, Kristen, Roxanna Gaddis; step grandchildren, Amanda Stinnett, Heather Mason, Alan Moore, Asley Moore; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
