Judy Nell Atchley

Judy Nell Atchley, 58 of Celina passed away Nov. 10 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Funeral services were held Nov. 15 at Upton-Hay Funeral Home with Kenny Westmoreland officiating. Interment followed in the Atchley Family Cemetery.

Surviving relatives include: husband, James; daughter, Jamie Colson and husband, Julian; son, Brandon Atchley and companion, Marcela Martinez, all of Celina; grandchildren, Alyssa and Alayna Colson and Kohl and Kye Atchley; Coury Fleeman, who she loved as her own; brother, Danny Rich of Celina; sister, Sandra Valentine of Gosport, England; nieces, Clare Valentine and Serenity Rich; nephew, John Valentine; a host of family, friends and neighbors; and hundreds and hundreds of the rodeo family.


Carrie Hazel Williamson

Carrie Hazel Williamson, 98 of Celina passed away Nov. 10 at her home. Funeral services were held Nov. 14 at Upton-Hay Funeral Home with Eddie White officiating. Interment followed in the Hamilton Addition of the Fitzgerald Cemetery.

Surviving relatives include: nephew, Lester Paul Reecer and wife, Bunny Jean of Jackson, Mich; niece, Kathy Turnage and husband, Wayne of Monticello, MISS; sisters in law, Sue Griffith and Mary Jo Williamson; special friends, Beverly Murphy, Shannon Richards and Kristine Collins; very special daughter like friend, Tina Kerr and Bobby Lee Kerr, who she loved as a son; seven nieces; a nephew; and many other relatives, friends and neighbors.


Maria P. White

Maria P. White, 77 of Moss passed away Nov. 20 at Summit Medical Center. Funeral services were held Nov. 23 from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Celina with Bro. John Davis officiating. Interment followed in the Clementsville Cemetery.

She was born Sept. 4, 1942 in Bangor, Pa. She was a bookkeeper for many years.

She was preceded in death by: parents, Anthony and Mary (Passecellli) Lucchetti.

Surviving relatives include: sons, Steve White and Tony White; daughters, Monica Davis and Paula Smith; sister, Jeanne Gradwell; and grandchildren, Craig Smith, Elexa Smith, Samantha Davis-Wix and Chasatie Danielle Pedigo.


Paul Houston White

Paul Houston White, 94 of Celina passed away Nov. 21 at Livingston Regional Hospital. Funeral services were held Nov. 25 from the Chapel of Hall Funeral Home of Celina. Interment followed in the Fitzgerald-Hamilton Addition Cemetery.

He was born Feb. 1, 1925 in the Spicewood Springs Community of Overton County. He was in the U.S. Army and served in the Pacific Theater during World War II as an aviation engineer. He was a farmer, manager of Overstreet Hardware, manager of the Clay County Farmers Co-op and was Clay County Trustee from 1966 to 1974. He was one of the founding members of the Shankey Branch First Church of God.

He was preceded in death by: parents, Robert Allen and Rosa Mae (Warden) White; wives, Versie Lola “Bill” Cunningham and Claudine Roach Crowe; son, Edward Houston White; sister, Anna Ruth White; brothers, Raymond Edward White and Floyd Thomas White; and extended children, Patsy Groce and Wendell Key.

Surviving relatives include: children, Harlan Paul (Priscilla) White of Hermitage Springs, Anna Rose (Fred) Warden of Grayson, GA. and Thomas Eddie (Irene) of Celina; grandchildren, Melissa White, Leslie (John) Langford, Barry (Leah) Warden, Allan (Carol) White, Anthony (Kristin) Warden, Casey (Lori) White and Heather (Brad) Thompson; 12 great grandchildren; five great, great-grandchildren; sisters, Pauline Melton and Reba (Waymon) Moore; sister in law, Mary White; and extended children, Rebecca Watson, Carolyn Fisher and Barbara Long.
