Robert “Bob” Eugene Lynn
Robert “Bob” Eugene Lynn, 78 of Cookeville passed away July 14 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were held July 17 at the Upton-Hay Funeral Home with Jeremy Bilbery and Robert Cox officiating. Interment followed in the Doc Hall Cemetery.
He was born April 27, 1954 in Celina. Bob spent his adult life working for General Motors where he retired from. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and attended the Church of God in Hilham.
He was preceded in death by parents, Malcom and Mary Elizabeth (Mabry) Lynn; brother, Joe Lynn; and sisters, Ann Gaulden and Deloris Netherton.
Surviving relatives include: wife, Judy Lynn of Cookeville; daughters, Rita Lynn-Douglas and husband, Chuck of Fort Myers, Fla., and Bobbie Jean Arnold and husband, Jeff of Beech Grove, Ind.; grandchildren, Jennifer Douglas, Kristina Violet, Mary Elizabeth Downing and Mark Downing; great-grandchildren, Hunter Violet, Lucas Brown and Karleigh Violet; sister, Sue Willis and husband, Bob of Cookeville; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Harlon Dallas Watson
Harlon Dallas Watson, 67 of Celina passed away July 20 at his residence. Funeral services were held July 23 at the Upton-Hay Funeral Home with Chris Richardson officiating. Interment followed in the Williams Cemetery. Active pallbearers were: Larry Adams, Michael Williams, Kenneth Williams, Christopher Watson, Joe Adams and Kris Watson.
He was born July 29, 1951 in Peytonsburg, Ky. He was quite the handyman and enjoyed working on his old truck and also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a member of the Ashlock Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by parents, Leonard Harlan and Hazel Olene (Adams) Watson; brother, Harvey Watson; and sisters, Norma Dean Spears, Emergine Capps and Syrphine Dale.
Surviving relatives include: wife, Glenda Watson of Celina; son, Chris Watson and wife Eddyth of Clayton, Ind.; daughters, Chastity Hunter and husband, Ray Rhoton of Celina and Bridget Bennett and husband, Greg of Hilham; sisters, Roberta Johnson and husband, Ron of Madisonville, Ky. and Corinda Skipworth of Bowling Green; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
