Bill Teeples, 97, of Celina, passed away April 24 at Celina Health and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services were held April 27 at the Upton-Hay Funeral Home with Jim Blankenship officiating. Interment followed in the Fitzgerald Cemetery.
He was born April 16, 1922 in Celina. He served during World War II as a part of the Army-Air Corps. He was a contractor, an avid coin collector and a member of the Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by parents, Herbert and Roxie (Masters) Teeples; wife, Imogene Teeples; brother, Minor Teeples; and sister, Ruby Mofield.
Surviving relatives include: sons, Gary Teeples of Celina, Mike Teeples and companion, Shirley Copas of Celina; daughter, Miranda Ford and husband, John Ford of Algood; grandchildren, Carla Teeples of Indianapolis, IN, Jenny Teeples and Blake Mayo of Rickman, Janessa Ford of Nashville and Sarah Ford of Cookeville; three great grandchildren; and a host of other family, friends and neighbors.
