City Receives Grant To Improve Sidewalk System

The City of Celina has received a $50,000 grant aimed at helping increase physical activity and improving the quality of life for residents through improved sidewalks and other features in the downtown area, creating a link to Donaldson Park.

The grant is from the Tennessee Department of Health’s “Access to Health through Healthy Built Environments” program, and provides for project planning, officials said. Future grants will be leveraged for implementation of the plan.
