The Pea Ridge Volunteer Fire Department may be a small department in Clay County, but they do big things. They do the best they can with what they have, but desperately need some new gear.
The Pea Ridge VFD doesn’t have enough turnout gear to equip all of their members. “There are two to three guys that don’t have gear at all,” Chief Rick Flory said. Turnout gear consists of a helmet, smock, suspenders, jacket, pants and boots.
