Dimple Savage Thompson
Dimple Savage Thompson, 91 of Tompkinsville, Ky., passed away on May 3 at Livingston Regional Hospital. Funeral services were held on May 6 at Strode Funeral Home with Jason Thompson officiating. Interment followed in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
She was born on Jan. 25, 1927 in Jackson County. She was a retired Educator from the Monroe County Board of Education. She was of the Christian faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Issac and Mary Lucy Hicks Savage; brother, James W. Savage; and sister, Ruby Butler.
Surviving relatives include her son, John Thompson and wife Alice of Tompkinsville; daughters, Sue Ann Allen and husband Eric of White House, Jane Winningham and husband Darryl of Byrdstown, Dr. Jean Donaldson and husband Johnny of Celina and Elizabeth Riggs and husband Michael of Bowling Green, Ky.; grandchildren: Danielle Smalling of Miami, Fla., Chelsea Smalling of Cincinnati, OH, Cordell Donaldson of Oak Grove, Molly Donaldson of Moss, Hunter Smalling of Byrdstown, Parker Riggs of Bowling Green, Ky., Joni Thompson of Tompkinsville, Clark Donaldson of Celina, Harrison Riggs of Bowling Green and John Austin Thompson of Tompkinsville; and great grandson, Jasper Donaldson of Tompkinsville.
Pallbearers included: Parker Riggs, Cordell Donaldson, Hunter Smalling, Clark Donaldson, Harrison Riggs, John Austin Thompson and Mark Butler.
Pamela Sue Greathouse
Pamela Sue Greathouse, 60 of Celina and formerly of Barberton, OH, passed away on April 28 at her residence. Funeral services were held on May 2 from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home.
She was born on March 28, 1958. She worked at Ohio Wholesale. She traveled and set up shows.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Greathouse; daughter, Jennifer Greathouse; father, Richard LaCook; mother, Wilma LaCook; grandparents, Agnes Hodgkinson, Henry Hodgkinson and Henrietta Hodgkinson; and niece, Linda Sue Elrod.
Surviving relatives include her sister, Reba Elrod; brothers, Michael Hodgkinson, Johnny LaCook and Allen LaCook; daughter, April Greathouse; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers included: Preston Scott, Dereck Riggs, Ronnie Hartell, John Henery Elrod, Jamie Dunn and Bill Donaldson.
