Betty Faye McLerran
Betty Faye McLerran, 73 of Celina, passed away on April 1 at Livingston Regional Hosptial. Funeral services were held on April 3 from the chapel of Hall Funeral Home of Celina with Bro. David Threet officiating. Interment followed at the Ray Williams Cemetery located in the Pea Ridge Community.
She was born on Aug. 10,1944. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Will and Dove Dee (Arms) Scott; daughter, Stephanie Dee Westmoreland; sons, Johnny Lynn Scott and Michael Duke Westmoreland; brothers, Bill Scott, Sylvestus Scott, Wayford Scott and Howard Scott; and sisters, Juanita Blakely, Mae Adams, Juldean Tinsley, Zula Davis and Geneva Scott.
Surviving relatives include her brothers, Estus Scott and Perry Lee Scott; grandchildren, Christopher Scott, Emily Flatt, Alexis Reed Scott, Nicholas Wright and Josh Westmoreland; great grandchildren, Isaiah Wright, Camden Wright, Christian Johnny Lynn Scott and Anaston Elise Scott; a host of nieces and nephews; and other family and friends.
Jane Marie Swan
Jane Marie Swan, 89 of Celina, passed away on April 4 at Celina Health and Rehab. Memorial services will be held on April 12 with Rev. Josh Newberry officiating. The family has chosen cremation. Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
She was born Nov. 19, 1928 in Glasgow, Ky. She was a homemaker and a member of the Celina United Methodist Church since 1956.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dillard Franklin Sparks and Zetta Mae Sparks; husband, Edward C. Swan; three infant children; and brothers, Royce E. Smith and James E. Smith.
Surviving relatives include her son, Travis M. Swan of Celina; daughters, Leann (Paul) Storm of Celina, and Lisa (Greg) Teeple of Whites Creek, Tenn.; grandchildren, Caitlin (Jared) Wood, Seth (Krista) Teeple and Jessica Teeple; great grandchildren, Ethan Taylor, Zac Wood and Aubrey Wood; and brother, Joe Neal (Dorothy) Sparks of Celina.

Jewell Copass Stafford, 75 of Pine Hill Community in Clay County, passed away on April 3 at Celina Health and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services were held April 6 from the chapel of Anderson & Son Funeral Home with Dale Strong officiating. Interment followed in the Pine Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Keith Maynard, Pernell Copass, Tony Copass, Adam Copass, Terry Copass, Kenneth Short and Peyton Scott.
She was born June 15, 1942 in Clay County. She was a garment factory worker and a member of the Pine Hill Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Millard and Elsie McLerran Copass; sisters, Esther Copass and Bonnie Turner; and brothers, Hardy Copass and Jack Copass.
Surviving relatives include daughters, Marsha Scott, Darla and husband, Keith Maynard, all of the Pine Hill Community; grandsons, Peyton Scot, Zach Scott, Justin Scott and Eli Maynard; sisters, Dean Short of Pine Hill Community and Wanda Mosley of Lebanon; brothers, Elvin Copass of Pine Hill Community and Wayne Copass of Mt. Vernon Community.
